Homme !
- Je suis la chaleur de ton foyer par les froides nuits d’hiver,
l’ombrage ami lorsque brûle le soleil d’été !
- Je suis la charpente de ta maison,
la planche de ta table !
- Je suis le lit dans lequel tu dors,
et le bois dont tu fis tes navires !
- Je suis le manche de ta houe,
et la porte de ton enclos !
- Je suis le bois de ton berceau,
et aussi de ton cercueil !
Ecoute ma prière, veux-tu ?
Homme !
- Laisse-moi vivre pour tempérer les climats,
et favoriser l’éclosion des fleurs !
- Laisse-moi vivre pour arrêter les typhons,
et empêcher les vents de sables !
- Laisse-moi vivre pour calmer ces vents, les nuages,
et apporter la pluie qui véhicule la VIE DU MONDE !
- Laisse-moi vivre pour empêcher les catastrophiques
inondations qui tuent !
- Je suis la source de tous les fleuves,
je suis la source des ruisseaux !
- Je suis la VRAIE RICHESSE de l’état,
je contribue aussi à la prospérité du plus petit village !
- J’embellis ton pays par la verdure de mon manteau !

Prayer of the tree
Man !
- I am the heat of your home during the cold winter nights,
The friendly shade when the summer sun burns!
- I am the skeleton of your house,
The wood of your table!
- I am the bed in which you sleep,
And the wood of which you made your boats!
- I am the handle of your tools,
And the door of your house !
- I am the wood of your cradle,
And also of your coffin!
Listen to my prayer, do you want?
Man !
- Let me live to moderate climates,
And facilitate the hatching of flowers !
- Let me live to stop typhoons,
And prevent the winds of sands !
- Let me live to calm these winds, clouds,
And bring the rain which conveys the LIFE OF the WORLD !
- Let me live to prevent the catastrophic
floods which kill !
- I am the spring of all the rivers,
I am the spring of streams !
- I am the REAL WEALTH of the state,
I also contribute to the prosperity of the smallest village !
- I embellish your country by the greenery of my coat!
Man !
